What We Believe
We believe that through Jesus Christ’s teachings within The Bible that we, as his people, have everything that we need in order to live the life that he has called us unto. 2 Peter 1:3-4
We understand that the least, unsaved, unloved, and the lost belong to God and that they matter to the church. We also understand that they are part of God’s creation and that it is also our responsibility to revive and to restore such a one back into the family God. Luke 5:30-32, Galatians 6:1
We believe that the church should always demonstrate Godly diversity as we remain relevant in season. Even though the world is constantly changing, we should always endeavor to make the best of every opportunity to win souls for The Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
We believe that the church should be the ultimate example of love, working together, honoring one another with high esteem, knowing that we have been divinely joined and fitted together to accomplish the work that God has ordained for the church. 1 Corinthians 12:12-27
We firmly believe that it is by the empowerment of Christian leadership in all areas of ministry, that once it is effective, it will strengthen the family, energize the community, perfect the Christian Faith, and it will increase the church in the capacities of its spirituality and physicality. Ephesians 4:11-16
We believe that The Bible is the only source of our belief within the body of Christ. We believe that all the scriptures contained within it were conceived and began with God. While the scriptures serve as God’s voice and life’s manual of instruction for his people, we understand that it contains the writings and vocabularies of human authors that wrote of the things which they had seen and heard. We continue to hold fast to the truth that The Bible is the only and final authority on all matters pertaining to the Christian faith and life.
We believe that there is only one, true, and living God and that he is the head of the God sovereign Trinity existing in the equality of three persons; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We believe that he is the creator of all things in Heaven and in the earth and that all of these things were not just created by him, but also for him.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of The God-head Trinity who was contained in human form and nature. This was miraculously orchestrated by The Power of God through the conception of a virgin birth. We believe he was perfect, knew no sin, and lived in absolute obedience to God, The Father. We believe that he was divine and truly God in the flesh. We believe that he paid the price for the sins of the entire world by dying on the cross as their substitute. We further believe that he died, rose, and ascended back into Heaven where he sits at the right hand of God serving as our mediator until he comes again for his people, fulfilling the eternal plan of God.
As the third person of the God-head Trinity, we believe him to be sent by The Father. We believe that he is the source of ultimate conviction that draws the hearts of sinners to be saved. He is the only source that can bring authentic comfort, love, and peace. We believe that he deals with the intellect of humanity by recalling things to our remembrance that we know and have learned about God, and that he also speaks on our behalf when we have opportunities to witness about the things of God.
We believe that faith should be the practice of every Christian believer pertaining to the things of God. We believe by faith; prayers are answered, that it comes by hearing God’s Word, it is the source of things hoped for, without it we cannot please God, and finally, we have been given salvation through faith by the grace of God.
We believe that all who claim Jesus Christ as Lord are reconciled back to him as his people, and are vessels of his sanctuary, making up the church. We believe that The Bible speaks of the gathering of The Saints for worship, prayer, fellowship, and the teaching of God’s Word. Along with worship, we believe that the observance of baptism and communion are witnessing essentials in the church. We believe the church to be the sacred place where the development of gifts, and talents are perfected as service to the body of Christ.
We believe that the act of baptism is the outward expression of an inward devoted commitment to obtaining a personal relationship with God. We also believe that the decision of baptism is based upon the person and they must have a great understanding of the meaning of being a disciple of Christ.
We believe that communion is one of the sacred ordinances of the church. Within the ministry of Jesus, he gathered with his disciples in a certain place and asked them to partake in the consumption of bread and wine in remembrance of him for the representation of his body and the blood that would be shed for the sins of the entire world.
